The Roma tomato differentiates from other varieties of tomatoes, in that it is is not juicy. They do not slice well and the flesh is think and dry so as to create a thick sauce when cooked.
The compact, determinate vines are resistant to verticillium wilt (V) and fusarium wilt (F) and widely adapted throughout the US.
