Marjoram has a sophisticated flavour, and compliments meats. Marjoram is used extensively in Italian and Greek cooking.Marjoram is used for seasoning soups, stews, dressings and sauce. 

Marjoram and oregano belong to the same family, with oregano being the wild form of marjoram. The most common type of Marjoram is Sweet Marjoram most commonly used in cooking is sweet marjoram.
